Zhang Jisheng, party secretary and director of Jiangsu economic and Trade Commission, recently visited the Jiangsu Textile Industry Association.

After listening to the introduction of Xie Ming, President of Jiangsu Textile Industry Association, Zhang Jisheng pointed out that although the textile and garment industry in Jiangsu encountered unprecedented difficulties in 2008, its output value still increased by 10% over the previous year. Since this year, the industry has been showing signs of improvement, but whether it has started to pick up again remains to be seen, and the revitalization of the textile industry needs further efforts from all sides.

The leaders of Australia Ocean Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Shu Yi Textile Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Diao clothing group Limited by Share Ltd, Wujiang Silk Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Hai Lan group Co., Ltd., Changzhou Dacheng Textile Group Co., Ltd., respectively, introduced the operation of enterprises at the forum.

Judging from the situation reflected by the participating entrepreneurs, the enterprises with the advantages of product design and sales channels in Jiangsu's textile and garment industry are relatively less affected by the international financial crisis. Since 2009, especially after the Spring Festival, the situation has started relatively well.

Hai Lan group, with its own terminal sales network, believes that the international financial crisis has not had a major impact on the company; the Australian Ocean Group's orders this year are already full, and some orders are also being processed abroad.

But at the same time, some small and medium-sized enterprises are still facing the risk of loss or bankruptcy, and some have even gone bankrupt.

As for the recent production and sales situation that began to warm up, it is generally reflected that after the early stage of enterprise inventory decline, it began to "make up the warehouse", which is an important reason for this phenomenon. Therefore, the situation can not be judged to be fully improved.

It is believed that the more difficult period this year may be in April and May, and the difficult situation will not end soon.

Zhang Jisheng fully affirmed the work of Jiangsu Textile Industry Association.

He urged enterprises to vigorously develop the domestic market, actively seize market share, strengthen internal management, pay attention to energy conservation and consumption reduction, and do well in product development.

Zhang Jisheng said that the textile industry is related to all aspects of the country's social and economic development, and the government departments at all levels will pay close attention to it.
