　　 This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the All China Federation of Trade Unions. On April 22, the All China Federation of Trade Unions held a "May Day" press conference in Beijing to introduce relevant information and answer questions from journalists around the centennial achievements and experience of the Chinese trade union, a series of activities to celebrate the centennial of the founding of the All China Federation of Trade Unions, and the recommendation and selection of national model workers and advanced workers in 2025.

　　 On May 1, 1925, the Second National Labor Congress announced the establishment of the All China Federation of Trade Unions. Over the past 100 years, under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese trade unions, centering on the central tasks of the Party in various historical periods, have worked with the Party as one and as one, organized and mobilized the working class and the working people to work together and make contributions, and have gone through a glorious historical process of contributing wisdom and strength to the struggle for national independence, the liberation of the people, and the realization of national prosperity and people's happiness, It has accumulated valuable historical experience.

　　 Tao Zhiyong, director of the General Research Office, introduced the main achievements and enlightenment of China's trade unions from four historical periods: the period of the new democratic revolution, the period of socialist revolution and construction, the new period of reform and opening up and socialist modernization, and the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

　　 Tao Zhiyong said that looking back on the history of the labor movement in the past century, the working class of China has always followed the pace of the Party, walked in the forefront of the times and made contributions, and established immortal historical achievements. Practice has fully proved that the working class is China's leading class, the representative of China's advanced productive forces and production relations, the most solid and reliable class foundation of our Party, and the main force in upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics. It is a prominent political advantage and consistent proposition of our Party to rely wholeheartedly on the working class and give full play to the role of the working class as the main force. At present, China has embarked on a new journey of building a strong country and national rejuvenation. Standing at a new historical starting point, we must implement the fundamental policy of wholeheartedly relying on the working class, give full play to the enthusiasm, initiative and creativity of the working people, and contribute wisdom and strength to the development of the cause of the Party and the country.

　　 It is understood that since the founding of New China, the Party and the state have held 16 national model worker commendation conferences, which have awarded more than 33000 national model workers and 35000 national May Day Labor Medals. One group after another of model workers actively engaged in the great practice of socialist construction and reform and opening up, leaving a shining name in the history of the Republic's construction.

　　 How to better play the role of the working class at present? In response to this problem, Tao Zhiyong said that, standing at a new historical starting point, the trade union will strive to ensure political security, protect the political status and democratic rights of the working class, especially to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the All China Federation of Trade Unions as an opportunity to publicize the outstanding contributions of the working class in China to the development of the cause of the Party and the country; Implement the system, improve the tripartite mechanism for coordinating labor relations, the joint meeting system between the government and the trade union, promote the improvement of the wage decision mechanism, the normal growth mechanism and the payment guarantee mechanism, and improve the democratic management system in the basic form of the workers' congress; Improve the quality, take the construction and reform of industrial workers as the guide, and cultivate more large country craftsmen and highly skilled talents; We should safeguard the rights and interests, improve the "inclusive+special" rights protection service system, and strengthen the protection of the rights and interests of employees in terms of income distribution, social security, rest and vacation, labor safety and health, so that employees can truly feel the concern of the Party and the government, and the warmth of the labor union organization.

From the pioneer force of the early labor movement to the construction of modern industrial workers, the textile industry has always been an important component and branch of China's labor movement. Sun Ruizhe, president of the China Textile Industry Federation, said recently that we should build a solid ideological foundation and guide workers to follow the Party. We should adhere to the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and guide workers to integrate their thoughts and actions into the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee. Firmly grasp the theme of the times of the labor movement, constantly innovate working methods and carriers, improve the ability and effectiveness of ideological and political work, and stimulate the sense of ownership of the majority of workers.

Investigate the impact of changes in the textile trade situation on enterprise operation and the stability of the workforce, and find solutions. Focus on key groups, increase employment assistance and training, and correct all kinds of employment discrimination.
