In 2019, from the raw materials to the yarn, from grey cloth to garments, from production to sales, from domestic trade to foreign trade, the textile industry is facing the pressure of international trade and internal economic pressure. Then, what are the focuses of textile industry in 2019?

1, environmental policy normalization industry shuffle acceleration

Since 2017, environmental protection requirements have been strictly closed. In 2018, all kinds of environmental policies and regulations were concentrated. In 2019, the environmental high pressure will continue. A new round of central environmental protection supervision has been launched in an all-round way, and environmental normalization has become an inevitable trend. In January 1, 2019, China's first law on soil pollution prevention and control, "soil pollution prevention and control law of the People's Republic of China", was formally implemented. On the same day, known as "the most stringent in history", the "air pollution prevention and Control Ordinance (Amendment)" of Shanxi province has also been implemented in the strict regulation of pollution prevention and control. Under the pressure of environmental policy, the "scattered pollution" enterprises will be further eliminated.

2, the international crude oil market turbulence PTA rising.

International crude oil prices rebounded significantly in recent years, after January 1, 2019, the international oil price is ushered in the seven consecutive rise, the PTA market is also rising.

3, the future trend of Sino US trade frictions is unclear.

On May 14th, just now, the US Trade Representative Office (USTR) announced that it would seek advice and hold a public hearing on about 25% US tariffs on Chinese goods for about 300 billion US dollars. The Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council issued a notice yesterday. Since June 1, 2019, the tariff rate of US $60 billion has been added to the part of us products, and the tariff rate has been raised to 25%.

Secondly, the supply of textile raw materials is caused by the Sino US trade friction. The United States is the world's largest exporter of cotton and China's largest importer of cotton. All along, China's cotton market is in a state of insufficient supply, and a certain amount of cotton needs to be imported to meet the demand gap. However, the shadow of Sino US trade war has already existed. For some textile enterprises which rely heavily on imported cotton, it is inevitable to take precautionary measures and choose multi-channel supply.

4, the rise of industrial transfer in Southeast Asia's textile industry

In recent years, the textile and garment industry in Southeast Asia (especially Vietnam and Bangladesh) has been favored by more and more European and American businessmen. Some of the orders from European and American markets have shifted to Southeast Asia. Under the pressure of overcapacity and domestic environmental policies, some Chinese textile enterprises have been fighting for Southeast Asia. But at the same time, there are many problems in Southeast Asian countries, such as low culture, scattered discipline, low work efficiency, high cost of technical training, excessive wage and salary increase, poor government business environment, and high level of open industry.

5, workers' perceptions change more frequently.

The rapid development of enterprises in the central and western regions has provided many jobs for local employment workers. The workers can work in their hometown nearby, and to a large extent reduce the labor resources in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. The concept of workers has shifted from the salary to whether there is time to rest. In the past, the factory began to resume work in order to get a good start. But now workers get back to work late, and normal production usually takes about fifteen of the first month. For many textile bosses, employment in 2019 will be a big problem. On the other hand, facing the rising cost of labor in the textile industry, it is a dilemma for young people to be reluctant to engage in the textile industry.
