However, due to the limitations of the performance of superabsorbent itself and production process, the concentration of superabsorbent cannot be too high. Because too high concentration will cause the super absorbent to form jelly, which cannot be used in the production process, and will also increase the cost; If the concentration is too low, the expected purpose will not be achieved. At present, the concentration of superabsorbent used by domestic enterprises is mostly around 0.05%.
Researchers from Berlin University of Technology announced a new method - impregnation method. The so-called impregnation method is to make the super absorbent into a dispersion solution, and then apply it on the surface of the fabric by brushing or spraying, or immerse the fabric in this dispersion solution to fix the super absorbent in the gaps of the fabric.
