October Textile And Garment Exports In Hebei

According to the latest statistics of Shijiazhuang customs, in October, the export of textile and clothing increased significantly, and exported 260 million US dollars in the same month, an increase of 34.9% over the same period last year. This is nearly 33 percentage points higher than the lowest level of export growth this year - September. This is the biggest monthly increase this year.

Clothing exports increased by 39.8% over the same period last year, the highest point in recent years.

According to the analysis, this is related to China's Readjustment of macroeconomic policies and the export rebate rate of textile and clothing.

Earlier, the growth of Hebei's textile and clothing exports slowed down due to the rise in the RMB exchange rate, the export tax rebate rate, the rising prices of raw materials and labor and the impact of the US financial crisis.

In August, the state adjusted the macroeconomic policy to raise the export rebate rate of textile and clothing and other labor-intensive products, and raised again in November.

From the statistics of Shijiazhuang customs, we can see that this macroeconomic policy is positive: in July, Hebei's textile and clothing exports to the European Union fell to its lowest level in recent years, an increase of only 5.2% over the same period last year. In August, the export growth to the EU increased by 10%; 7, the growth of exports to the United States in August was 6% and 5.4%, and September began to pick up; in September, the export of textile and clothing in Hebei increased by only 2.1% compared with that in September last year, while the growth rate in September increased to 34.9%.
