Recently, Herbert Heiner, chief executive of Adidas, said in an interview that Olympic sponsors should not shoulder the responsibility of confronting the Chinese government against the Tibet issue. Otherwise, they will have to discuss every conflict with every government in the world.

Haina said, as a sponsor, I definitely don't think this is the work of sporting goods companies and Olympic sponsors.

Adidas is the second largest sporting goods company in the world and one of the sponsors of this summer's Beijing Olympic Games.
