Yancheng City Makes Great Efforts To Develop Characteristic Economy

The total three industries of leather shoes, petroleum machinery and energy-saving lamps account for 60% of the whole county. There are 23 existing scale enterprises in leather shoes industry, of which 6 are leather shoes manufacturing enterprises, 5 are shoe materials manufacturing enterprises, and 12 are supporting cooperative enterprises. Jiangsu's leather shoes sales and market share ranks the highest in the country. The group is also involved in thermal power, clothing, logistics, bioengineering, electronic information and other industries. It has 1 well-known trademarks, 2 famous Chinese brands, 4 national inspection free products and 6 well-known brands. Our county will take the group as the leader, elongate the industrial chain, and further expand and strengthen the leather shoes industry. Our county's oil machinery industry has been listed as one of the 20 industrial clusters in Jiangsu province. It has more than 400 existing enterprises, and owns and uses more than 200 patents. It mainly produces two series of drilling and oil production products, which sell well in all major oil fields and more than 30 countries and regions in the country. In the future, the petroleum machinery industry will continue to develop towards industrial ecology, high-end technology, factor parks and industrial matching. The energy saving lamp industry has more than 100 enterprises in the county, and has formed a relatively complete industrial chain, and has more than 20 technological processes with independent intellectual property rights. It has formed a number of backbone enterprises such as sun, moon, light, heroic and hundredfold and so on. We will extend the industrial chain around the energy saving lamp industry, and promote the development of industrial clusters by the new batch of leading, traction, filling and market driven projects. Building a strong brand is the foundation for enterprises to gain core competitive advantages. In order to "make beautiful" famous brand, we encourage enterprises to grasp quality brand. In recent years, remarkable achievements have been made in brand building. The whole county has 3 famous brand products: China's leather shoes, good people's leather shoes, and kexheng medicine. 2 well-known trademarks of China, including 11 well-known products of China, 18 famous brand products and 14 famous trademarks of Shandong Province. Agricultural machinery industry and new energy industry are emerging industries in our county. 100 thousand tons of biodiesel and 20 megawatt biomass power generation projects are being built. In the future, we will vigorously support the development of new industries, make great efforts to develop characteristic economy, and provide sustained competitiveness for the development of county economy.
