In the whole province, the county has ninth national tax revenues exceeding one billion counties (cities) after Ji Xinzheng, Yongcheng, Xinmi, Dengfeng, Gongyi, Huixian, Mianchi and Yuzhou.

Founded in 1994, the county's national tax revenue was only 69 million yuan.

Since then, along with the rapid growth of the county's economic strength, the county's national tax revenue has been rising continuously. In 1998, it exceeded 100 million yuan; in 2003, it broke through two hundred million yuan; in 2006, it exceeded 500 million yuan; in 2007, it exceeded 900 million yuan.
