Toy Export Delivery

Now and then Christmas During the peak period of toy production, Chinese toy companies can deliver goods in 50~60 days after the order of overseas buyers, and the fastest 20~30 days can be delivered.

At present, under the influence of multiple factors, the production cycle has been extended to eighty or ninety days. Many Chinese toy enterprises are worried about whether they can deliver the goods on schedule.

Taking into account the shortage of workers, rising costs and technical barriers, Gu Wu, general manager of Shenzhen huun Kun Industrial Development Co., Ltd. has been very cautious this year, and has given up many toy export orders. Even so, there are still many orders on hand, which are difficult to find suitable toy factories.

"Export toy profits are slender. Many Hong Kong Taiwan funded toy factories in PRD are closing or turning to domestic production orders. Now it is very difficult to find a fast delivery and quality assurance toy factory. The problem of lack of work is still troubling toy enterprises. The impact of labor and raw material costs on toys industry is also very large. The whole supply chain has encountered many problems. The shortage of labor and cost has not only affected the profits of toy factories, but also affected the smooth supply of raw materials by toys upstream enterprises. For example, the upper circuit board suppliers of electronic toys reduce inventory in order to control costs, often waiting for the toy factory to place orders, then reproduce, and the spot is not enough, which affects the production process of toys. Toys Production week The period is extended from two months to eighty or ninety days. " Gu Wu told reporters yesterday that China's toy manufacturing is not only losing its cost advantage, but also weakening its delivery advantage.

Nanjing Tengsheng Toys Liu Ziqin, the head of the limited company, also said that the efficiency of toy production is decreasing. On the one hand, it is difficult to recruit workers and the number of factories is decreasing. On the other hand, the demand for quality of toys by overseas buyers has been increasing. These factors have caused the delivery date to drag around for 20 days. Now, when discussing with buyers, they should not only raise their prices, but also strive to relax the deadline for delivery.

Compared with the necessities such as textiles, clothing and shoes, the price increases of toys are more difficult. Due to the inability to digest costs, and the shortage of workers, the time limit for delivery, the increase in trade barriers and the increase in exchange rate risks, the export rate of Chinese toys has slowed down.

The figures released by the General Administration of Customs show that in the first 7 months of this year, the export growth of traditional commodities generally increased faster than the first half of the year, including clothing exports of US $66 billion 830 million, an increase of 17.4%, an increase of 1.4 percentage points compared with the first half (the same below), 19 billion 420 million US dollars of footwear exports, an increase of 23.6%, an increase of 2.8 percentage points, and furniture, bags and plastic products all accelerated faster than the first half of the year.

Mr. Li, director of a large toy export enterprise in Guangdong, said that the industry is generally pessimistic about the future prospects, and toy export business is becoming more and more difficult. Several dozens of factories have been closed, and some factories have seen their long-term cooperation, losing their jobs and finishing their orders.

Gu Wu also said that after the peak of toy export in 8 and September this year, Chinese toy enterprises will be more difficult, and there is no possibility that a group of toy export enterprises will fail. International buyers such as "anti city" have been negotiating with us next year's orders. The German regional purchasing manager has attached new requirements to the order next year, to achieve the EU REACH regulations and the EU's new toy safety directive formally implemented in July 20, 2011. Gu Wu said, "it is very difficult to achieve these new rules. We can hardly find one in 100 toy factories that meets their requirements." Toy buyers in Europe and the United States demand continuous improvement, but prices have not risen correspondingly. More and more Chinese toy export enterprises will be pushed to the brink of death.

According to the REACH regulations, manufacturers and importers must submit the registration information of raw materials to the EU chemicals authority, otherwise they will not be sold in the EU market. REACH regulations are being implemented step by step. Chinese toy enterprises will suffer from this year's beginning. The replacement of testing fees and new materials will be a great test for Chinese toy enterprises.

"With the increasingly demanding market in Europe and the United States, we are developing new markets such as Russia, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The European and American markets will no longer be our largest export market." Gu Wu said.
