Many bosses like to paint big cakes and give their employees some mental food.

Let it work for itself.

This is understandable. Painting big cakes is an excellent way for the boss to mobilize the enthusiasm of the staff.

But the key to the problem is whether your cake is empty or real.


Employees expect their boss to give them enough room for development, good development benefits, and employers expect employees to create wealth for the company.

When employees believe that the boss is painting big cakes and creating value for them and creating wealth, is it time for the boss to cash in? The smart boss makes promises to employees, so that they can make more efforts to create more wealth for the company, on the other hand, they can give other employees a good example. You see, as long as you work hard and make achievements, I will reward you.

This is a good move.

However, there are some unenlightened bosses who are very persistent. The enterprise is mine. I said that if I want to cash in, I will cash in.

Even if you are not convinced, there is no shortage of people in China.


Recently, I talked with a company manager about how to treat employees. The boss said that in his company, how many employees have done well, several employees have bought a car and bought a house.

She also mentioned that she often did good deeds, and even showed me a text message she contacted with a nursing home, saying she was going to finance a nursing home.

It's quite attractive for me to face such a company.

The boss of the company interviewed me once and asked me to do a training for the senior and senior staff for his company.

More than 1 hours of training is over, everyone is satisfied with my training effect, and the boss's impression is not bad.

So the boss invited me to join the company. After talking about the salary and the date of work, the boss's words annoyed me.

It also reduced my initial satisfaction with the company from 95 to zero.

The boss said there was an unwritten rule in our company. Every employee must pay a deposit of 2000 yuan before entering the office. I was dumb at that time.

I ask why? Is it not a clear violation of the labor contract law? The general manager explained that our company's products were very expensive, and there had been an employee who had stolen the product soon, so there was a rule.

I retorted on the spot that the whole company had to pay the deposit because the employee had stolen the product. Even if the employee made a mistake, he should do something else to remedy it, such as installing a camera on the product site, doing background checks before entering the office, etc.

The boss said, these are useless, the staff ran away, how can we catch up, even people do not know where to run.

I then asked why the staff in the office had to pay the deposit, and the boss said, of course, it is necessary to hand in all the accounts.

Of course, the final result is that I did not convince the boss, nor did the boss convince me.


(explain, do not think that what kind of insurance is such an enterprise, this is definitely a formal business, but here is in line with the need to comply with personal ethics, not easy to name the company's name and industry).


After coming back, I have thought a lot about why this enterprise has been in the industry for 10 years or not. It is said that the boss went outside to ask a consulting company, and the consulting company clearly stated that the development of the company must invite a professional human resource person to help the company solve the problem of personnel development.

I can see that this boss is expecting too much for me. But in my heart, I should not only ask, how much can a company that treats all its employees as a thief, even if it makes too many beautiful lies in front of employees?


So I think that many bosses in the real world are always used to making too many commitments to their employees. They always feel good about their employees, but do they understand the minds of their employees?


I feel that any enterprise must be good to their employees if they want to succeed.

In the past, the idea that customers were God had long been out of date, because customers were not satisfied with the service of these customers.


In dealing with employees, we should at least achieve the following two aspects:


1, employees must treat their employees in good faith. They say that I respect their employees, but their behavior is the opposite. Such wisdom makes employees feel that they are being cheated.


2, promise must be fulfilled.

Or don't promise employees anything, or commit to cash.

After all, the cake cannot be filled with hunger.


The above two points are just the basic aspects of treating employees well. If we want to really satisfy employees and let employees produce greater value for enterprises, they need to think carefully and care for their employees.
