ZARA

Zara opened its first store in India, which was jointly opened by Zara's parent company Inditex and India Tata Group. The new store is located in Delhi, and it is estimated that second shops will be located in Mumbai.

Inditex continues to expand the Zara brand globally, helping to slow down the impact of Spain's economic difficulties.

India is the second most populous country in the world with a population of 1 billion 100 million. Inditex believes that opening a store in India can be seen as a new milestone in Asia.

Inditex said that Asia now accounts for 12% of the group's sales. The company has a cargo center in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Now more and more western enterprises are entering the India market because of the fast economic growth of India. This makes India's middle class expand rapidly. The latest data show that India's economy grew at an annual rate of 8.6% in 1-3 this year.

According to the law of India, foreign retailers must first cooperate with local partners if they want to enter the India market.
