Chinese cities are competing with the existing retail centers of other countries for the most attractive retail destinations in the world.

Last weekend, the US CB Richard Ellis released the annual report on the globalization process of retail industry, pointing out that this year China has 3 cities ranking among the ten largest retail cities in the world, namely Hongkong (fifth), Beijing (sixth place) and Shanghai (eighth), of which Shanghai has been selected for the ten largest retail cities for the first time, and the selection of these cities is largely due to their attractiveness to luxury goods and other industries.

According to the survey, the survey describes the development footprint of 294 retailers in 69 countries. The top 20 cities are composed of traditional and emerging markets, reflecting the global development trend of the international retail industry.
