Guangzhou Garment Enterprises Jointly Enter The Eastward Expansion Of Hangzhou Market

Service Enterprises

More than 100 garment wholesale enterprises in Guangzhou are planning to "expand eastward" the Hangzhou market. This is the first joint venture of Guangzhou local garment enterprises in the East China market in recent years. Some analysts point out that Guangdong's clothing industry is facing a "competition from inside and outside".

Panicle 10 clothing giant signed settlement agreement

The day before yesterday, from the "China Sijiqing clothing trade center" investment conference, it was informed that the center was built by the Hangzhou municipal government and all walks of life for more than 3 years, planning a total area of 3.5 square kilometers. It is the "carrier class" clothing "heavy town". It is scheduled to open in August next year. The purpose is to attract a group of high quality clothing brands with operational ability to enter, and the clothing companies after signing will expand their sales in the domestic market.

The move has attracted more than 300 well-known clothing enterprises in Guangdong. In yesterday's investment promotion conference, 10 Guangzhou clothing giants, such as Hanyu, Xin, Bao Ni, Tian Yu, Hengda and so on, signed the agreement of intent agreement with the Sijiqing garment trading center of China. In addition, more than 100 other enterprises in the province were ready to make a move to sign the "Eastward Expansion".

Weakening of Guangdong's strength

The clothing industry is one of the important pillar industries in Guangdong province. Guangzhou is also the "center of gravity" of Southern China's regional garment wholesale industry. However, the industry analysis shows that with the adjustment of the domestic industrial situation, the emerging clothing bases such as Zhejiang are gradually emerging, and the advantages of the Guangdong garment industry have been weakened, and Zhejiang is "coming back from behind" in terms of export volume. At the same time, many famous international clothing brands also choose Guangdong as a breakthrough for landing in the Chinese market. Guangdong's clothing industry is facing a "competition between inside and outside".

"Aircraft carrier" to "rush to eat"?

Does the East China clothing "aircraft carrier" come to Sijiqing merchants? Does it mean "rush to eat"? Zhou, chairman of the Construction Department of the China garment trading center in Sijiqing, believes that the wholesale industry of the Yangtze River Delta represented by Hangzhou and the wholesale trade of the Pearl River Delta represented by the Pearl River Delta have different emphasis on market segmentation, and the two "cooperation" will complement each other. In addition, the first batch of Ye Ruisheng, President of the "good year" clothing company limited, signed a letter of intent with the China Sijiqing clothing trade center, also said that the distribution of wholesale clothing market in Guangzhou showed a "small and scattered" feature. The industry had already moved the "East enlargement" market in East China, hoping to follow the fine tradition of the "Guangdong Legion" in the garment industry. Moreover, the local women's clothing industry has received the government's attention and support, which is also lacking in the Guangzhou market.
