Not long ago, a delegation from the mainland's professional business delegation visited 26 people. According to insiders, entrepreneurs from both sides of the garment industry converged on the island. They discussed the prospect and development plan of the cross-strait professional wear market, which opened the door for mutual exchanges between the mainland's professional apparel industry and the professional wear industry, laying the foundation for future in-depth cooperation and trade and economic cooperation between the two sides.

When it comes to cross-strait exchanges, the most frequently used word in the media is "a strip of water", which is used to describe the blood relationship between the two sides. In fact, from the frequent exchanges between the two sides in the field of clothing in recent years, the close relationship between the two sides has already transcended the geographical distance. It can be said that this "clothing belt" tightly ties the garment industry on both sides of the Strait to a whole.

Especially after the financial crisis, many Taiwanese businessmen in the clothing industry have been looking for new market fulcrum. They have invested their eyes in the mainland market with broad prospects. As China's largest and most influential international clothing and accessories fair, CHIC naturally became the first choice for Taiwanese businessmen to display their image and promote their brands. There is no doubt that he is also on the list of choices.

Before the exchange between the two sides of the garment industry, CHIC, the largest financial industry, has been planning to enter the mainland garment market. Wang Yanjun, director of design of the company, pointed out that the development of the garment industry needs to rely on the mainland market. This is probably one of the reasons for the large number of garment enterprises in this year's CHIC exhibition.

What does clothing enterprises enter the mainland and what does it mean for China's clothing industry? Perhaps from the words of Wang Yaomin, Secretary General of the China professional wear industry association, some ideas can be drawn during his visit to Taiwan: the textile industry has been on the forefront of mainland enterprises in the development of functional fabrics, providing strong technical support for the functional, fashionable and low carbonization of professional clothing. In the future, the mutual learning and common development of the professional clothing industry on both sides of the Strait will make a due contribution to the national professional wear industry.

In view of this, this simple "clothes" has a new meaning.
