In 2015 1~11, the total volume of textile and apparel trade was 280 billion 380 million US dollars, down 5.6%, of which exports were US $257 billion 10 million, down 5.8%, imports 23 billion 370 million US dollars, down 3.5%, and the cumulative trade surplus was 233 billion 640 million US dollars, down 6%.

In November 2015, the total value of imports and exports of goods trade was 340 billion 380 million US dollars, down 7.6% from the same period last year.

Of which, exports of US $197 billion 240 million, a decrease of 6.8%, imports of US $143 billion 140 million, a decrease of 8.7%, and a monthly trade surplus of US $54 billion 100 million.

Last year 1~11 months, the total value of import and export of goods trade totaled 3 trillion and 565 billion 530 million US dollars, a decrease of 8.5%, of which exports were US $2 trillion and 52 billion 320 million, a decrease of 3%, and imports of US $1 trillion and 513 billion 210 million, a decrease of 15.1%, with a cumulative trade surplus of US $539 billion 110 million.

Exports of major trade methods fell rapidly.

In November 2015, the export of textile and clothing main trade was still declining rapidly. General trade, processing trade and border trade decreased by 9%, 20.2% and 19.6% respectively, while other trade modes increased by 48.6%.

In the month of 2015 1~11, exports of general trade decreased by 4.5%, less than the average decline, processing trade dropped by 15.6%, border trade decreased by 23.5%, and other trade modes, mainly in the form of market purchasing trade, increased by 32.4%.

In terms of imports, general trade imports increased by 3.1%, and processing trade dropped by 12.5%.

Exports: the ASEAN market is showing signs of a rebound and its performance is steady for the United States.

In November 2015, China's textile and clothing exports to the US only declined by 0.3%, basically flat.

In 2015 1~11, China's total exports to the United States totaled 43 billion 680 million US dollars, an increase of 6.4%.

Among them, clothing grew by 6.3%, textiles increased by 6.9%, and commodities of large categories.

Enlargement of EU decline

In November 2015, China's textile and clothing exports to the EU dropped by 15.5%, and the EU became the fastest export market in that month.

In 2015 1~11, China's total exports to the EU totaled 47 billion 620 million US dollars, down 11.1%.

Among them, textiles and clothing decreased by 7.9% and 12% respectively. The export volume of large categories of knitted and woven garments decreased by 11.5%, and the export unit price dropped by 1.1%.

Rebounding against ASEAN

In November 2015, China's textile and apparel exports to ASEAN textile and clothing decreased by only 0.6%, and the monthly export volume gradually increased since August, reaching 3 billion 420 million US dollars in November 2015, reaching a high level in the year. Clothing exports have been increasing after 8 consecutive months of decline.

In 2015 1~11, China's total exports to ASEAN amounted to 32 billion 50 million US dollars, down 1.5%.

Among them, textiles maintained a 7.2% growth, clothing decreased by 15.6%, exports of large categories of knitted and woven garments decreased by 10.5%, and the average unit price of exports dropped by 8.4%.

In textiles, the fabric grew by 12.2% and the yarn decreased by 13%.

Japan's downtrend remains unchanged.

In November 2015, China's textile and clothing exports to Japan fell by 13.6%, of which textiles and clothing decreased by 13.1% and 13.8% respectively.

In 2015 1~11, China's total exports to Japan were 19 billion 870 million US dollars, down 12.2%, of which textiles and clothing decreased by 10.2% and 12.7% respectively.

In textiles, the main export commodity household textiles decreased by 17.7%.

In garments, the total export volume of knitted and woven garments decreased by 12.3%, and the export average unit price dropped by 0.9%.

Slowdown in clothing exports

In November 2015, China's textile and clothing exports appeared "double drop" for fifth consecutive months, of which clothing decreased by 10.1% compared with the previous year, the decline slightly slowed down compared with the previous period; the textile industry fell by 9.3% compared with the previous year, and the decline was earlier than the previous expansion.

In 2015 1~11, China's textiles and clothing exported 99 billion 750 million US dollars and US $157 billion 260 million respectively, down by 2.6% and 7.7% respectively.

Among them, the total export volume of knitted and woven garments of large categories decreased by 7.3%, and the average export unit price decreased by 0.8%.

In textiles, only 0.6% of the fabric growth, yarn and finished products decreased by 9.4% and 4.6% respectively, the average unit price of yarn exports fell 8.7%, and fabric fell 1.9%.

Jiangxi and Beijing surged forward

In November 2015, exports of textiles and clothing continued to grow in Guangdong and Guangxi, and Jiangxi and Beijing suddenly rose, and exports increased by 60.3% and 175% respectively over the same month.

In particular, Beijing's exports amounted to US $400 million in the month, a record high, mainly from clothing exports to the United States, Australia and other countries.

In 2015 1~11, exports in most parts of the country decreased, while Guangdong and Guangxi increased by 8.3% and 27.1% respectively.

In the top 5 provinces and cities, the decline in Zhejiang and Jiangsu is below average, while Shandong and Shanghai surpass the average, and the rate of decline is faster.

Imports: clothing rebounded

In November 2015, China's textile imports dropped by 11.1%, and clothing imports resumed growth, and the increase was 22.5%.

In textiles, imports of yarn, fabrics and finished products all declined, and cotton yarn imports dropped by 3%.

The import volume of knitted and woven garments increased by 20.2%, and the average price of imports increased by 1.4%.

In 2015 1~11, China's textile imports decreased by 6%, and clothing increased by 5%.

In textiles, only yarn maintained 1.4% growth, and fabrics and finished products decreased by 12.8% and 9.8% respectively.

The total imports of knitted and woven garments increased by 9.8%, while the average import price dropped by 3.7%.

Cotton rebounded sharply

In November 2015, cotton imports changed the previous month's shrinking trend. Imports rebounded sharply during the month, with imports reaching 84 thousand tons, narrowing to 8.3% year-on-year.

In 2015 1~11 months, the total import volume was 1 million 287 thousand tons, down 40.9% compared with the same period last year, and the import average price dropped by 15.4%.

In November 2015, the new cotton market entered the peak period, the overall supply of resources was in excess of demand, the purchase price and spot price fell slightly, and the sales of new cotton became better.

The average monthly price of China's cotton price index (CCIndex3128B) is 12966 yuan / ton, down 75 yuan / ton, or 0.57%, down 1719 yuan / ton, or 11.7%.
